With half a day predicted to remain dry I arrived at the boat to refit the Props and Anodes before the rain comes in again for the next four days.

Finally a dry day with little or no wind so went to the boat to spray the drives with antifoul and complete the polishing of the hull and upper skirt above the rub rail. All completed just need to antifoul the hull and were ready for relaunch.

The March weather has been one of the wettest on records and despite being predicted to be dry it rained again so had to call off halfway down the starboard side. Managed to sand the bottom for an hour or so to get out the rain but in the end had to pull off the job.

With the weather proving very mild for the time of year we headed to Haslar Marina for a night on board, first stopping at M&S for provisions. This was our first visit to the boat this year, pleased to say the engines started well and went into gear.

This year has been very poor 'weather wise' with constant wind a rain and generally very unsettled. We only managed eleven hours of sea time which is the lowest hours we've achieved in over 15 years of boating, lets hope 2024 brings a better season. Since the end of August it seems to have rained constantly, hence the reason we haven't been to the boat through the autumn period.
