Black Gang Marine completed the repair of the drives, I managed to redo the anti-foul all ready for relaunch before heading out on our holiday with Jude, Beans & Charlie.

Relaunch at Port Solent after the drives were fully serviced and the UJ and stub shaft bearings were replaced for the second time in a year lets hope this works.

After two weeks ashore the repair work was started by Black Gang Marine, and were on schedule for the relaunch this coming Friday the 16th July 2021. They've moved the starboard engine back to remove the bell housing for the second time in a year for new bearing and seals to be fitted. I managed to replace the Mast Head Navigation Light and also replace the Starboard Wiper Motor, all done and working again. Also re anti-fouled the hull which should give us eighteen months back in the water.

After a very wet night we woke early to be pulled out at Port Solent after the rain finally stopped.

We decided to do a short trip up the harbour to Port Solent with Jude,Beans and Charlie, little did we know the Port Side bellows was leaking resulting in the bilge pump alarm going off. We had a leak into the bilge so had to get an emergency lift out, not the best end to a few days away.

After a few days of fitting Flexiteek final completed the decking bringing the major refurbishment to a close. Hopefully we can get on with using the boat.
