Maiden Voyage of the Season to East Cowes - 15th/19th April 2021

With a partial unlocking allowing overnight stays on boats we headed out for four nights to East Cowes, the weather was fabulous if a little chilly with a biting North Easterly wind making it cold at night. We had a great time just finally getting away.

A few more last minute tweaks - 11th April 2021

Before the seasons starts for over night stays we managed to complete a few more tweaks, first a new Stainless Steel Osculati Anchor/Mast Light raising it up 150mm so it can now be seen 360 degrees around the boat as the old light was obscured by the TV Aerial and Raymarine GPS. And bit the bullet to change the old Simpson Lawrence windlass foot switch's to Stainless Steel Osculati Grey & Red foot switch's tested and all seem's to be working fine.

Engines Serviced and New Alternator - 8th April 2021

In readiness for the return to overnight boating on Monday 12th of April 2021, I headed to the boat to do an Oil & Filter change on both engines also the Fuel/Water separator filters on both and replaced the Fleet Guard in line fuel filters. Black Gang Marine came by to adjust the Flybridge Starboard MT3 control, it now engages perfectly. Finally fitted the new alternator to the Starboard Engine as the old one had become noisy and kept going slack on the belt. All now running sweet ready for the season to begin.
